Under what circumstances should fans and filters be used?
The refrigeration efficiency of this scheme depends on the difference between the temperature of the external environment and the maximum temperature allowed inside the control cabinet, and is also affected by the airflow velocity at different environmental temperatures. The cooling capacity is limited by the maximum external temperature and airflow velocity, which are determined by the size of the fan and the noise generated. However, this solution can be used for control cabinets with low heat loads and ambient temperatures not exceeding 35 ℃ (such as in North America). Higher ambient temperatures can be achieved with faster fans, but this method is rarely used when the temperature outside the control cabinet exceeds 45 ℃.
When the fan speed increases, energy consumption also increases, and noise and filtered dust also increase (the efficiency of the filter depends on daily maintenance). Even with the best filtration system, dust and moisture will continue to accumulate over time, so the risk of failure still exists.
In addition, the fan and filter are installed on the control cabinet, and the waterproof and dustproof rates of the control cabinet must be reconsidered
